In October 2015, Owen established Beltech, opening its first workshops in Adelaide, South Australia and Kambalda West, Western Australia. Our vision was clear: to deliver high-quality maintenance and consulting services built on reliability, expertise, and client-first values.
In February 2019, Beltech expanded its Queensland presence with the opening of a larger workshop in Mount Isa, purpose-built to handle larger-scale fabrication, maintenance, and rebuild projects across the region.
In April 2022, Beltech relocated to Townsville to establish a larger and more advanced workshop, strategically positioned as a central hub to support operations. This move consolidated our Adelaide and Mt Isa facilities into a single, high-performance location designed to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and service delivery.
In July 2025, Beltech proudly opened their head office in Brisbane, positioning itself in a central hub to meet growing demand and deliver faster, more responsive service to clients across Queensland and beyond. The move supports our continued growth and commitment to operational excellence.
Beltech evolved into Beltech Group, a dynamic collective of specialist services and products, reflecting its growth, diversification and commitment to delivering end-to-end solutions across a multitude of industries.

Owen brings more than 30 years’ experience across a broad range of heavy industries, including two decades where he held senior roles with BHP, leading major projects across Australia and the world. At Beltech, he applies this global expertise with a blend of technical insight, operational strength, and hands-on leadership, all underpinned by integrity and a strong commitment to excellence.
With over 40 years in the mining industry, Martin brings unmatched experience in safety, systems, and process improvement. His leadership spans mineral processing, maintenance, and bulk handling, grounded in qualifications that turn knowledge into action.
A former boilermaker with hands-on roots in draglines, Adam now drives maintenance leadership at Beltech. His cross-sector experience and sharp project management skills keep teams aligned, efficient, and always improving.
